Exhaustive Revelation

Quran

"Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.""

Surah Al-Baqarah · 2:286

This verse addresses the loss of capacity and the burden beyond one's ability to bear, directly reflecting the debilitating nature of chronic fatigue where the soul cannot perform beyond its diminished physical capacity.

"And be patient, [O Muhammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes. And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise. And in a part of the night exalt Him and after [the setting of] the stars."

Surah At-Tur · 52:48-49

This verse prescribes patience and spiritual practice during periods of standing and night, acknowledging the challenge of worship during physical weakness and offering spiritual support for those struggling with persistent exhaustion.

Sahih Hadith

"When any one of you stands for prayer at night and the Quran becomes confused on his tongue so that he does not know what he is saying, he should lie down."

Sahih Muslim · 2702SahihNarrator: Abu Huraira

This hadith directly addresses cognitive fatigue and the inability to maintain mental clarity during physical exertion, permitting rest when the body cannot sustain activity, a core symptom of chronic fatigue syndrome.

"If any one of you feels drowsy while he is praying, he should sleep until drowsiness goes away from him, for if one of you prays while he is drowsy, he may not know whether he is asking for forgiveness or vilifying himself."

Sunan Abi Dawud · 1309SahihNarrator: Anas ibn Malik

This hadith recognizes pathological drowsiness and overwhelming fatigue that impairs function, commanding rest rather than forcing activity, which aligns with chronic fatigue management principles.
