"And they ask you about menstruation. Say, 'It is harm, so keep away from wives during menstruation. And do not approach them until they are pure. And when they have purified themselves, then come to them from where Allah has ordained for you. Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves.'"
Surah Al-Baqarah · 2:222
This verse acknowledges abnormal menstrual bleeding as a pathological harm (adhā), directly relevant to uterine fibroids which cause heavy and prolonged menstrual bleeding requiring medical attention and purification guidance.
"No disaster strikes except by permission of Allah. And whoever believes in Allah - He will guide his heart. And Allah is Knowing of all things."
Surah At-Taghabun · 64:11
This verse provides spiritual comfort for women enduring the chronic pain and distress of uterine fibroids, affirming that believers' hearts find guidance through their trials with benign tumors.

"A woman came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said, 'One of us gets menstrual blood on her garment, what should she do with it?' He said, 'She should scrape it, then rub it with water, then sprinkle water over it, then she can pray in it.'"
Sahih al-Bukhari · 326SahihNarrator: Asma bint Abi Bakr
This hadith addresses the practical jurisprudential concern for women with uterine fibroids who experience heavy, frequent, and unpredictable menstrual bleeding requiring specific purification guidance.
"Fatimah bint Abi Hubaysh had istihadah (non-menstrual bleeding). She asked the Prophet (peace be upon him), and he said, 'That is from a blood vessel and is not menstruation. When menstruation begins, stop praying, and when it ends, wash the blood off and pray.'"
Sunan Abi Dawud · 307SahihNarrator: Fatimah bint Abi Hubaysh
This hadith directly addresses abnormal uterine bleeding (istihadah), the primary symptom of uterine fibroids, providing guidance for distinguishing pathological bleeding from normal menstruation.
