"He who created me, and He guides me; and He who feeds me and gives me drink; and when I am ill, it is He who cures me."
Surah Ash-Shu'ara · 26:78-80
Sahih Hadith
"The Prophet (peace be upon him) had himself cupped while in ihram, on the middle of his head, between his shoulders, on his two jugular veins, and on his withers."
Sunan Abi Dawud · 3873HasanNarrator: Anas ibn Malik
Cupping (hijama) on the sacral region and lower back was traditionally employed for hemorrhoidal congestion and pelvic venous stasis in classical Islamic medicine.
"A woman who was suffering from bleeding (istihadah) at the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) - Umm Salamah asked the Messenger of Allah about her. He said: 'Let her count the nights and days of the month when she used to menstruate before this happened to her, and let her leave prayer for that length of time each month. When that time has passed, let her perform ghusl, then let her bind herself with a cloth, then let her pray.'"
Sunan Ibn Majah · 3461HasanNarrator: Umm Salamah
The practice of binding or compression (istithfar) prescribed for rectal bleeding conditions demonstrates the classical approach to managing hemorrhoidal bleeding through local pressure and absorption.

Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah · Al-Ṭibb an-Nabawī
Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah, At-Tibb an-Nabawi, Chapter on Cupping (al-Hijamah) and scattered references in treatment of bleeding conditions - recommends cupping on the sacrum for pelvic congestion, dietary control to prevent constipation, and the use of costus and senna as both preventive and therapeutic measures.
