"When any of you goes to bed, let him dust off his bed with the inside of his garment, for he does not know what may have come onto it after him. Then let him say: 'In Your name, my Lord, I lay down my side and by You I raise it up. If You take my soul, have mercy on it, and if You send it back, protect it as You protect Your righteous slaves.'"

The Prophet said: 'When you go to your bed, say: O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and what they shade, Lord of the earths and what they carry, Lord of the devils and whom they misguide, be my protector from the evil of all Your creation, lest any of them wrong me or oppress me. Mighty is Your protection and glorious is Your praise, and there is no god but You.'"
